It’s the second-to-last Oxford Arts Crawl of the season tonight from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., and it’s the biggest on record, according to organizer Wayne Andrews.
Square Books, Jr. is partnering with Lafayette County Literacy Council for a bookmark art show, Amelia (located next to The Lyric) will feature artwork, The Ford Center is inviting the public in for an open rehearsal of Classic Literature Sings, and all of the usual venues, including Frame Up, Southside Gallery, The Powerhouse, University Museum, Gallery 130, and Cicada will also be participating.
You’ll find plenty of food and beverages at every stop, and the Double Decker bus is always around if you need a ride.
If you’ve missed out on previous crawls, they run from January to October on the fourth Tuesday of every month. The event is free and family friendly. The Art Crawl is a partnership with between local artists, arts groups, the Yoknapatawpha Arts Council and the CVB to highlight the arts in Oxford.
