Hullabaloo Island Grill, a new steak, seafood and oyster bar restaurant owned by Tessie Harris, is slated to open in mid September in the former location of Fat Cat’s and Red House Burgers and Blues (302 S. 11th St.).
The space has been completely redesigned to incorporate additional bar-height seating throughout, colorful wall treatments, swinging seats and a huge chalkboard wall. There are even plans for a small back patio.
“The restaurant has a tropical theme—kind of a Jimmy Buffet getaway,” Harris tells EatingOxford.com, “The menu will feature seafood, steak, salads, wraps, and staples such as burgers and chicken.”
