The time has come for summer fun, and restaurant owners are not excluded. Prepare for some of your favorite restaurants to close for summer vacation.
Lusa Pastry Cafe has already gone on summer break, with plans to return around July 12, and Ravine will be on summer vacation from June 27 to July 5th.

Thanks for the warning. One of the worst things a relatively new restaurant can do is to not be open when one expects it to be. This is a very bad decision for these relatively new businesses to make. The trick in any business that wishes to be successful is to be open and welcoming customers during their stated hours, year round. Not that I care since we have had bad experiences at both Lusa’s and Ravine. My wife and I will not go back to either of them.
I’m in agreement that restaurants should remain open year round. I hope that you contacted Lusa and Ravine about your experience with them. Restaurateurs cannot fix problems if no one alerts them to issues.
