A limited number of tickets will go on sale Tuesday, March 8, for the always-sold-out Miss-i-sippin’ event. The event is scheduled to take place March 31, from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at The Powerhouse Arts Center.
Now in its third year, Miss-i-sippin’ is the brainchild of Wayne Andrews, director of the Yoknapatawpha Arts Council and Chef Lee Craven of Lenoir Dining Services, on the campus of the University of Mississippi. The event is designed to be a laid-back, casual spin on happy hour.
Miss-i-sippin’ is a fundraiser with proceeds going to the Arts Council and the Hospitality Management program. Tickets can be purchased for $35 ($25 for arts council members and “of age” students) by calling the Arts Council at 662-236-6429 or stopping by The Powerhouse Arts Center between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
Best of all, the pairing menu was just released today, so feel free to start daydreaming about what you’ll be eating in a few weeks!
