You may have noticed the new Christy’s sign that went up on the old location of Dippin’ Dots at 2204 Jackson Avenue recently. This is the location of a new Christy’s Hamburgers restaurant that is set to open the week of July 7th according to co-owners (and brothers) Todd and Ryan Burkis.
Started in Starkville, Mississippi, in the 1980s, Todd purchased Christy’s from the former owners in 1997 and opened a second location in early 2010 in Columbus, Mississippi. In early 2010, Ryan joined the venture and opened a third location in Missouri. The duo are now joining forces to open this fourth outpost in Oxford.
The menu includes of a short lineup of burgers, sandwiches (chicken, catfish, Philly cheese steak) and platters (chicken tenders, catfish, buffalo chicken tenders). All burgers include a trip to the toppings bar at no cost. View the full menu here.
