The results from this year’s Best of Oxford survey were released Friday from the Oxford Eagle.
I’m happy to report that while EatingOxford.com did not win the top prize, the site was given a mention as Best Oxford-Themed Website. Thanks for the votes!
As for the remainder of the results, some made sense while others were surprising (best fries at McDonald’s and best pizza at Papa John’s?). I was rather disappointed to see chains receiving more votes than our local restaurants in some categories. What does that say about how Oxonians are viewing Oxford restaurants? How do restaurateurs feel about this?
