If you’ve been waiting and peeking in windows for the last several weeks, the doors are finally opening tonight on the basement of The Thompson Building to welcome back patrons of The Blind Pig. A grand opening celebration is currently planned for Tuesday, March 30.
The standard Blind Pig menu of po-boys, paninis, soups and chips for lunch and dinner will kick in immediately, and a new breakfast menu will make its debut in mid April with items such as breakfast burritos served from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.
UPDATE 04/01/10: OK, it appears Blind Pig didn’t meet its original opening date. Sorry to jump the gun there, but it’s looking like April 9 is the official grand opening date now.
UPDATE 04/05/10: The Pig has been serving lunch since last Thursday; no liquor license until next week.
