Have you seen Jamie Oliver’s Food Revolution, the new reality series on ABC that takes a look at America’s eating habits?
English chef Jamie Oliver, first introduced to the world as The Naked Chef, has traveled to the States, specifically Huntington, West Virginia, to help start a revolution in turning around the way Americans eat and the state of the current school lunch program.
For the last seven years, Oliver has successfully been helping the schoolchildren of England eat healthier and prolong their lives, noting that today’s children are among the first generation who will live a shorter lifespan than their parents due to complications arising from obesity.
Throughout the series, Oliver will be giving viewers a look at school lunch programs and highlighting aspects such as the use of overprocessed foods, sugared-up milk and a government system that labels french fries as vegetables.
If you have some time, try to catch an episode or two; you can watch at your leisure on Hulu.com here.
