To help satisfy Oxonians neverending hunger for new food options, LBs. Meat Market across from Kroger on University Avenue started serving breakfast and lunch to its customers at the end of February.
Monday through Friday, breakfast sausage and biscuits compete against equally tempting burritos chock-full of scrambled eggs, bacon, cheese and home fries with a side of High Point Coffee from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.
Lunch hours begin at 10:00 a.m. and go through 2:00 p.m. during which time items such as hand-formed Black Angus beef burgers are offered up alongside sandwiches stuffed with smoked brisket, smoked sausage, Philly cheesesteak, or pulled pork.
Outside of breakfast and lunch, fresh gulf seafood such as soft shell crabs, tuna steaks and red snapper fillets just arrived and Louisiana Crawfish is coming soon.
UPDATE 5/19/10: LBs. now offers anything on the lunch menu wrapped, or you can design your own wrap from ingredients shown on the menu.
