Marie’s Lebanese Cuisine Closing March 5

For most restaurants that close the doors, we only have to suffer the loss once. In the case of Marie’s Lebanese Cuisine on Heritage Drive, this will be the second time Oxford will say goodbye to Marie Husni’s amazing casseroles, hummus, falafel, gyros and desserts (have you tasted the Lemon Berry Mascarpone cake?).

According to Marie’s daughter Diala, the decision to close the restaurant was a hard one for Marie, considering the fact that she reopened it just a couple of years ago after repeated requests to bring the restaurant back (it was a popular Oxford staple back in the early ’90s). Marie will now be able to visit with family overseas and partake in some much-deserved traveling with her husband, Samir.

Closing day will be March 5, so get in there and eat all you can before Marie’s is gone. All of the dry goods in the restaurant’s shop will be 30% off while they last.

Lunch: Tuesday – Saturday 11:00 to 2:30
Dinner: Thursday – Saturday 5:00 to 9:30
