Worthy of a mention, two restaurants–Heart Attack Grill in Chandler, Arizona, and Heart Stoppers Sports Grill in Delray Beach, Florida–are currently in a legal battle for the rights to brand their restaurants with a heart-attack theme. Heart Attack Grill is claiming that Heart Stoppers has copied its theme.
According to the Huffington Post, “Both feature monstrously fatty menus, scantily-clad ‘nurse’ waitresses, and signage with an EKG design. At both restaurants, customers over 350 lbs. eat for free. At Heart Attack Grill, customers who finish the biggest burger on the menu get wheeled out of the restaurant in a wheelchair.”
It’s quirky enough to be catchy, but I can’t imagine eating at a place like that on a regular basis.
