Bad Boy’z is Good Eatz

I can’t tell you how many times I’ve taken someone to try the pizza at Bad Boy’z and the first thing they say is, “Hey, this is good!” And the second thing they say is, “But why don’t they cut it like normal pizza?”

If you’ve been to Bad Boy’z Pizza & Pub and wondered this very thought, you might be interested to know that the pizzeria and its owners came to Oxford from Moline, Illinois. The style of pizza cut you’re seeing is popularly known in the Midwest as a “party cut” (made for sharing, normally cut into even smaller squares than you see at Bad Boy’z). Yes, it’s different, but the pizza is still very tasty–some of the best in town.

The thing I don’t understand is that folks will tell me that they’ve tried the pizza–and like it–but haven’t gone back because they can’t get past the way the pizza is sliced. I’ll bet that if you ask nicely, they’ll gladly cut it into whatever shape you prefer.

UPDATE 12/22:

I’m very sorry to report that Bad Boy’z has closed its doors. Oxford will not be the same without that cheesy, wonderful goodness!!! I’ll miss you, Bad Boy’z.
