For those out there who crave a nice prime rib or porterhouse every once in a while, October 31st is slated for the grand opening of LBs Meat Market, a new butcher shop in the shopping center across University Avenue from Kroger.
A posting on the store’s FaceBook page click here says that they’ll have a menu up soon to announce the shop’s offerings.
Just in time for the holidays!
UPDATE: Looks like LBs will be offering plate lunches when it opens on its new date of November 7. According to the newly updated website at lbs meat market : LBs is a full service meat market that offers cajun cuisine, daily
plate lunches, take-out orders, catering, smoked meats, seafood, and
sausages made in-house. Homemade casseroles and sides will be available
for you to take home, pop in the oven and enjoy. LBs will also
provide deer processing.
