New Oxford Restaurants

Oxford has seen an influx of new restaurants lately, while a few others, unfortunately, have had to close their doors (Pearl Street Pasta, L&M, San Francisco Bread Co.)

Not totally brand new, but semi-new and worth mentioning because I love them, are Bad Boy’z Pizza & Pub(excellent calzones and Bad Boy’z Bread) on Jackson and Red House Burgers and Blues (catfish on Fridays/Saturdays and decadent grilled cheese) near Blue Pan in the Square area .

Opened recently were Lenora’s (see my blog about this one) and Chick-fil-A (who knew a chicken sandwich could draw such a crowd!)

Coming soon are the surf and turf Varsity Grille, Jamaican/oyster bar Irie, Big Bowl Asian and possibly a dueling pianos/burger joint called Frank and Marlee’s.

Stay tuned for all the delicious results…

  1. Irie is supposed to open their kitchen officially tomorrow (10/11)! The bar opened on friday night and is already my new favorite bar so hopefully the food is good too!
